About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner with a strong e-commerce background to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle of our e-commerce platform, ensuring that it meets business objectives and provides an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities:
• Act as the subject matter expert for our e-commerce platform, maintaining a deep understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and business objectives
• Develop and maintain the product roadmap, backlog, and sprint goals
• Work closely with the development team to translate business requirements into actionable user stories
• Prioritize product features and requirements based on customer feedback, market research, and business value
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to validate product features and improve the user experience
• Monitor the performance of the e-commerce platform and use data-driven insights to inform product decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and customer support to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience
• Continuously communicate product strategy, status, and progress to key stakeholders
• Experience in the retail or consumer goods industry
• Experience with A/B testing, user research, or usability testing
• Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
• Experience with product management tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel
Requirements
Experience in e-commerce product development and management, including familiarity with e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, and online merchandising techniques.
Strong knowledge of e-commerce business operations, including online marketing, customer service, and fulfillment.
Ability to define and prioritize product features, create product roadmaps, and develop and maintain a product backlog.
Strong understanding of user experience and user interface design principles, with the ability to work with designers to create effective and engaging user interfaces.
Experience in Agile development methodologies, with the ability to manage the product development process, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including development teams, executives, and customers.
Understanding of data analysis and the ability to use data to inform product decisions and measure product success.
Knowledge of web analytics tools and SEO best practices, with the ability to optimize e-commerce product pages for search engines.
Ability to identify new market trends and opportunities, and to stay up to date with e-commerce industry developments.
